I started a podcast!
Since May, my co-host, Jeremy Nadison, and I have been digging into Montana local and regional food systems in a series of bi-monthly interviews with leaders in the space.
The show is called, Food, Montana—as if Food is the name of a town. Because this loosely connected world of of folks working in food systems and pathways in Montana IS a community.
Food is a basic human need. And it’s a nexus of many of the biggest levers of change and power—agriculture, finance, energy, health, conservation, and equity among them.
Our guests have included Wyatt Nelson, owner of Montana Local Foods Distribution; farmer and organic advocate Nate Powell-Palm; and former Montana State University professor and national farm to school leader Mary Stein. They are people who are not just envisioning the food system and the world they’d like to see. They are creating it.
We’re on Apple, Spotify, and all the other major podcasting platforms. Let us know what you think!
